Ian Brown Engineering cc T/A SuperTech Plastics is located in Kya Sand, Randburg.

The company has occupied the current premises since 2000.

The manufacturing facility was purchased from Rossbro Plastics cc at this time by Ian Brown, who was a partner in the concern, and continued to trade as Rybro Tool & Die cc.

In 2007 Ian Brown Engineering was formed with sons Jared and Brice as new members. In early 2011 Ian Brown Engineering began trading as SuperTech Plastics in an effort to rebrand the company more towards manufacturing in the plastics industry.

The Rybro trademark has been kept as a well established brand.

Ian Brown Engineering cc manufactures materials handling products under the Rybro trademark. The company specifically manufactures castor wheels and load rollers for the reseller market. Our mission is simply to provide the market with exceptional value and service as an alternative to imported products.

The Company provides manufacturing services to outside customers, including R & D, tool design, tool making and production of the product. Many of our customers approach us looking to upgrade an existing design, usually being produced using low volume techniques, to a more mainstream design. We have been able to provide the client with a more aesthetic product at a competitive price, which has in all cases seen an increase of business for the client.

Our facilities house 5 injection moulders ranging from 20 ton to 175 ton; we are able to mould products up to 800 grams.
We also have facilities for custom metal pressing on our 80ton eccentric press.

We have recently added a new division to our company in the form of extrusion blow moulding, with blowing capacity up to 1000ml plastic bottles in PVC, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PETG or Styrolux
